HCL Electrician Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification :

• ITI (Electrician) with 4 years experience /
  NCVT (Electrician) with 3 years experience
• Must possess valid Wireman license form Government Electrical Inspector.

Age Limit :

Maximum 35 years as on 01.06.2021.

• The maximum age limit is 35 years as of 01.06.2021 for General Candidates.
• The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates.

Application Fees :

• General, OBC, EWS category persons should pay Rs.500/- as the application fee.
• For SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen categories candidates, the Application fee is not applicable. :

Mode of Selection :

1. The mode of selection shall be through a written test. Written Tests shall be held in the
   form of multiple-choice questions. Successful candidates in the written tests shall further go for the main Test.
2. The candidates, who secure minimum pass marks of 35% for SC/ST candidates and 40% for others in the written tests shall be called for trade tests in the ratio of 1:3 of the vacancies.
3. The weightage of the written test and trade test will be 80% and 20% respectively. The final merit list will be made based on an aggregate of written test and trade test marks.
4. The Trade Test shall be conducted on the same day for the successful candidates in the written test.
